Christingle Service. 10am Sunday 4th February, Holy Trinity Church

Join us as we celebrate the time when Jesus was taken to the Temple for Dedication. We shall make Christingles during the service and hear from a speaker from the Children's Society about their vital work with children and families. The plate collection at the service will go to support their work.

Deanery Service. 6pm Sunday 4th February, St John's Church, Stansted

At this joint service for churches across the Stansted and Dunmow deanery, the Bishop of Colchester will be commissioning us as a Mission and Ministry Unit. It will be an opportunity to celebrate our working together across the deanery. Worship will be led by a choir made up of singers from all the churches. Stay afterwards to enjoy fellowship over wine and nibbles.

Film Night: "Casablanca". 7.30pm Friday 9th February, All Saints Church

You are invited to come enjoy this classic and much-loved romance set in Casablanca during World War Two. The film explores the theme of sacrifice and we will be using this as inspiration for our Lent course. Whether you want to join the course or not, you are very welcome to come and watch the film at All Saints Church on Friday 9th February. There is no charge, but contributions to costs are welcome. We'll provide tea and coffee, but bring your own refreshments if you would like to.

The Deanery Walks are back!

The first walk of this year is on Saturday 17th February, setting out from St Mary the Virgin, Lindsell at 9am. We will walk for an hour or so and return to the church for some refreshments and a short time of prayer. Everyone is warmly welcome. Please come with suitable footwear for a winter walk in the countryside.
